How it works

How COMZA works, from the order to the register

You cash in at the counter, you invoice two hours of labour, you watch stock move and see the $340.00 a customer still owes you. In the evening, the sales report fits on one screen. Shop, workshop, practice, association: eighteen trades, fifteen languages, the same software.

The path of a sale

From order to payment: five hands, one entry

Elsewhere, the seller writes in a notebook, the cashier types it again, and in the evening $40 is missing that nobody can explain. In COMZA, each one picks the sale up where the last one left it.

The same sale goes from the seller to the invoice, from the cashier to the manager, then to the evening cash-up, without anyone typing it again Each picks the sale up from the last. Five hands, one single entry. 1 The sale Seller 2 The invoice Automatic 3 The payment Cashier 4 The approval Manager 5 The register Cashier Zero re-entry THE SAME SALE, FROM SHELF TO DRAWER
1

The sale

One scan, or three letters typed: fitting, session, repair, hour of labour.

The invoice

It comes out line by line, with a number that will never be used again. Your details, your logo and the tax are already on it.

3

The payment

Cash, card, cheque, transfer, mobile payment. A customer pays $50 in cash and the rest by card; the change to give is shown.

4

The approval

Credit, credit note, discount above the cap: the manager answers from his phone, most often in under a minute.

The register

You count the drawer, COMZA compares with its own figure. The $2.00 missing is written down before you go home.

Every move carries a name and a time. Who sold, who cashed in the $213.00, who closed the drawer at 20:30.

The six areas

The whole business management software filed in six areas

Most management software drowns you in forty menus. COMZA has six, and your cashier opens only three.

Who opens what The six areas and the ones each role can open: the cashier opens three, the manager four, the owner all six SIX AREAS, THREE ROLES Sell Stock Customers Invoices Reports Settings Cashier Manager Owner A closed area does not appear in the menu: the cashier's screen carries no margins.
A day with COMZA

From the morning float to the drawer counted at night

An ordinary day, four people, thirteen and a half hours of counter. Six moments where a figure usually goes missing.

The frieze of a day: drawer opened at seven, delivery received, midday rush, discount to approve, write-off for loss, cash-up at half past eight 07:00 Opening float $120.00 09:30 Delivery scanned standing up 12:00 The rush 40 customers in an hour 15:00 Discount waiting for the manager 18:00 Write-off for loss reason "breakage" 20:30 Cash-up gap $2.00, explained TWO SCREENS Thirteen and a half hours of trade, one single workspace.

OwnerReads the figures, sets the caps

CashierCashes in, opens and closes the register
SellerRecords sales and services
ObserverLooks, changes nothing

Five access levels. Your cashier does not see your margins, and the observer cannot delete anything.

07:00

Opening and the float

You count the drawer, you enter $120.00. The screen brings out what is left from yesterday: three orders not yet cashed in, two products below threshold.

09:30

The delivery arrives and gets scanned

The manager scans the containers standing in the stockroom and types the supplier price, $46.00 for the 20 L can. The price per litre, $2.30, works itself out.

12:00

The midday rush

Forty customers in an hour. The seller records in the room, the cashier cashes in at the counter, and what is entered on one side appears on the other in under a second.

15:00

A discount to approve

A customer asks for $5.00 off $218.00, above what the seller can give; so the request goes to the manager's phone.

To approve
18:00

A write-off for loss

A carton knocked over in the stockroom, six items broken. The seller takes them out of stock with the reason "breakage" and his name. At month end it shows up as loss, not as theft.

Loss
20:30

The cash-up

Note by note. COMZA expected $902.60, the drawer holds $900.60, and the missing $2.00 gets a reason before you go home. Tomorrow morning, the float starts again from the figure counted.

At sign-up

Four questions, and your space is ready

Setting up management software usually takes two weeks and a consultant. Here, four questions, two minutes. You can change all of it later if you feel like it.

1

Your trade

Hardware store, garage, restaurant, workshop, practice, wholesaler, association… eighteen families. Your answer decides the screens you will see.

2

Your language

Fifteen languages. In Arabic, the whole screen goes right to left. Each employee picks their own.

3

Your currency

Symbol, where the symbol sits, separator, decimals. $1,250.00 is written the way you write it in your notebook.

4

Your time zone

So a sale at 23:40 falls on the right day. Reports, cash-ups and due dates follow your time.

What COMZA sets without asking you

The screens, the fields, and when stock comes down

✓The screens. The restaurant sees its tables, the garage its repair orders, the association its members and their dues.
✓The fields on the sheet. Batch and expiry in a pharmacy, time spent and hourly rate in a workshop. The other fields do not appear.
✓The moment stock goes down. At payment in a shop, on approval in a restaurant, at reservation for a wholesaler. A session or an hour of labour touches nothing.
✓The units. The drum and the litre for engine oil, the blister pack in a pharmacy, the hour and the flat rate in a workshop.

What COMZA does not do

You have already been sold software meant to do everything. Four things this one does not do, to read before you pay anything.

What COMZA does and what it does not: six areas covered on one side, four admitted gaps on the other, and the export that bridges to your accountant WHAT IT DOES WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Register, receipts and evening cash-up Stock by container and by unit Invoices, quotes, delivery notes, credit notes Customers, credit and reminders Reports, margins and offline working General accounting Payroll and payslips Online shop Automatic bank reconciliation The bridge to the right column: sales, purchases, stock and payments export to a spreadsheet or a PDF, for your accountant.
✕

No general accounting

No chart of accounts, no entries, no balance sheet. COMZA knows what is sold, bought, taken in and lost. Your accountant pulls all that into a spreadsheet and does the rest.

✕

No payroll

No payslips, no social contributions, no leave. Your employees exist here as users, so you know who sold and who approved.

✕

No online shop

No web store, no order taken over the internet. What happens here happens at the counter, on the phone, on the road, on a quote.

✕

No automatic bank reconciliation

You tick off the transfers received by hand. Count ten minutes a week. We are working on it, with no date to announce.

Your data comes out whenever you want

Sales, purchases, stock, customers and payments export to a spreadsheet or a PDF, over the period you choose. The day you leave us, you leave with your last three years.
